The “Total stoneware Experience” space designed by Sapiens Design Studio.
An immersive environment in which the use of ceramic slabs creates continuity between furnishings and wall coverings, telling the story of Pollini Home’s know-how in processing and assembling large-format porcelain slabs.
We presented:
The thermoformed porcelain shower tray promotes water runoff with seamless gradient. It is an elegant solution to totally integrate the shower into the bathroom and thus create a unique environment with a homogeneous design.
Circular tile mosaic with split technique inspired by the Japanese art of Wabi-sabi. Irregular, imperfect edges enhance the materiality of stoneware.
Ratio is a freestanding washbasin whose components are individually made and manually assembled through a handcrafted process that meets precision engineering. The body, characterized by sharp, square volumes, is embellished and made unique by the ability to customize surfaces.
Integrated washbasin with customizable surfaces.
Sink shelf with customizable surfaces.
Geometric backsplash that frames and embellishes the sink area, enhancing the precision cutting and assembly technique of porcelain stoneware.
YSO is a pair of small tables of different heights that can be placed side by side or on top of each other to generate surprising interplays of shapes.
The thin stoneware top and lightness of the structure give YSO a strong geometric-architectural value.
YSO table tops and coffee tables made by juxtaposing different stoneware finishes, formed by two concentric elements in which the rotation of the central part allows for different geometric configurations
Towel rack and room divider with strong sculptural value, formed by a customizable porcelain stoneware frame and orthogonal metal elements inspired by Mondrian’s famous painting
In the prestigious space of Superstudio Più, at 27 Tortona Street, as part of the Fuoriserie exhibition-event, a project organized by CNA – Confederazione Nazionale dell’Artigianato e della Piccola e Media Impresa – under the artistic direction of Sapiens Design Studio and Stefano Lodesani Studio. We were selected to exhibit, along with other artisans from all over Italy, and called to propose our idea of uniqueness by showing products that look to the future in a sustainable way thanks to their high artistic and craftsmanship value.
We presented the Monet collection.
Open cabinet and side tables made of porcelain stoneware that can be customized and coordinated with upholstery. The countertops float and overlap in space like soft brushstrokes. The organicity of the forms transcends the rigidity of the stoneware slab, enhancing its workmanship. The shapes emerge as natural elements and break the rigid traditional geometric patterns dictated by the inherent properties of the material.
